Pumpkin Spice Drink Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
  • 1-2 tablespoons sugar or maple syrup (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee or espresso (optional)
  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
  • Additional cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Heat the Milk: In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it’s hot but not boiling.
  2. Add Ingredients: Whisk in the pumpkin puree, sugar or maple syrup, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground ginger, and ground cloves until well combined and heated through.
  3. Optional Coffee Addition: If using coffee or espresso, pour it into your mug.
  4. Combine: Pour the pumpkin spice milk mixture over the coffee, stirring to combine.
  5. Serve: Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of additional cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice if desired. Enjoy your cozy pumpkin spice drink!
